ESISO: A CHAIRMAN FOR ALL SEASONS

A little over eight years ago, Olorogun Barr. Kingsley Tito Esiso PhD was unanimously elected as the State Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Delta State at the Party's State Congress of that year.

Having handed over the reigns of the running of the party's affairs, after a successful two term tour of duty to Chief Solomon Areyenka, it is time to celebrate a man who became a political Iroko unders whose branches mang young people have found shade.

At his election in 2016, there were the doubters and skeptics but I dare say he acquainted himself very well and he left office with his head held high and shoulders squared in celebration of a very successful tenure. 

Olorogun Kingsley Esiso brought dynamism, innovation, and energy to the running of the affairs of the party. He was accessible to ALL members of the party irrespective of status or gender. He was someone any member of the party from the least to the highest could access at ANY TIME even if it be midnight. 

Esiso as Chairman engendered peace, unity and togetherness amongst the members of the executive which he led, there was no infighting because he made all feel welcome. 



He it was who reduced the cost and acrimony associated with electing our candidates for Council elections, and party Congress by setting up college of leaders across the wards and LGAs. Because of this innovation we hardly hear of aggrieved members any more.

Olorogun Kingsley Esiso as Chairman became an Iroko under whose shade many people found solace. He made himself available as a ladder on which lots of young people could climb to political relevance. He provided his shoulders as a stepping stone to a lot of youths to get to see far. 

Esiso demystified the office and made it an office which the people can call their own, he made the people own the office by making it accessible to all. 

Esiso is a great grass rooted politician, never taking anyone for granted nor made anyone feel small. He is a quintessential leader. 

It is my firm belief that Olorogun Esiso can say with boldness that he came, he saw and he conquered. 

Today, I pray that God be with you in all your ways and keep your feet from trouble. 

Oruese, today I wish you Godspeed in all your future endeavours in Jesus name.

Works on the Rehabilitation of Abraka Express Road in Full Swing

The rehabilitation of the Abraka Express Road by the Delta State Government is progressing smoothly and at full speed.  This project, which began about a month ago, is part of the state government's ongoing efforts to improve roads that have been causing challenges for residents in the state, particularly in Abraka, Ethiope East LGA and other parts of the state. As of early Wednesday, March 12, 2025, the rehabilitation of Abraka express road project has reached the MC-1 phase. This means the road is being prepared for asphalting, and the completion of the project is expected in the coming days. While we continue to appreciate the administration of His Excellency, RT. Hon.
